Castlemaine Health is committed to providing equitable access to our services. We’ve put in place a range of website features to help improve accessibility.
Navigation
For keyboard only users, there are ‘skip to content’ and ‘skip to secondary navigation’ links at the top of each page. They’re hidden from standard view but will appear on keyboard focus.
We’ve prioritised the reading order of pages for screen readers. This will help you get where you need to go more quickly.
The website allows keyboard users to tab through all menus and content.
Look and feel
To help those with low vision and colour blindness, we’ve made sure we use sufficient colour contrast throughout the website. The contrast also helps when using mobile devices where screen glare can be an issue.
Zooming
Our site has been optimised to zoom to any level and on multiple devices.
We recommend zooming instead of changing the text size only. If you’re not sure how to do this type ‘zoom in’ into a search engine like Google and you’ll find the instructions for your browser.
Printing
Some people find reading on a computer monitor or screen difficult. Some people just prefer to read offline.
Every pages of this website has been optimised for printing offline. Just select the print icon at the top of any page.
Feedback
Accessibility is something we are continually working on. If you have any suggestions for improving the accessibility of our website we’d like to hear from you. You can use our feedback form to get in touch.
